Sage and Shimmer is a cozy, efficiently designed 470-square-foot secondary suite. It is the perfect size for a solo traveler, a couple or up to a family of four looking for a peaceful, comfortable launchpad for their South Okanagan adventures.

We offer a seamless self-check-in process. A few days before your arrival, you will receive a secure, personalized keypad code to access the suite. This allows you to arrive at your own pace and start unwinding immediately.

Yes, we provide dedicated, complimentary parking on the property for our guests. If you are traveling with a larger vehicle or bringing outdoor gear for the lakes or ski hills, please reach out so we can confirm the space meets your needs.

We are located right in the heart of South Okanagan wine country! Because our property is situated just outside of Oliver, you actually have incredible vineyards within walking and easy bicycling distance on safe, off-highway roads, allowing you to leave the car behind: River Stone Estate Winery: Located incredibly close by, sitting roughly half a kilometer (about a 10-minute walk) from the suite. An ideal choice for a spontaneous afternoon tasting and a leisurely stroll back. Cellar Door & More: Situated 1.4 kilometers away, making it a very easy target for a relaxing bike ride. Tucked away and peaceful, perfectly matching the laid-back retreat vibe of our suite. District Wine Village: A short 2.5km drive or bike ride offers many tasting and culinary options from wineries and breweries to cocktails, locally roasted coffee and even a bookstore! Of course, if you're up for a short drive, the spectacular Phantom Creek Estates, along with other world-class spots like Tin Horn, Hester Creek and Kismet Estate Winery, are just a few minutes down the road as well!

Absolutely. While the summers here are famous for lake days and sunshine, the winters are just as magical. We are ideally situated for easy access to local skiing, and the suite is well-heated and designed to be a warm, cozy sanctuary to return to after a day on the slopes.

The suite features a well-equipped kitchenette space to help you enjoy slow, laid-back mornings. We provide the essential cookware, dishware, and a coffee setup so you can brew a fresh cup to enjoy before heading out for the day.

Yes, all bed linens and bath towels are provided. We also supply extra towels for your family if the kids are along for your journey, just let us know when you're booking.

Yes! While we encourage our guests to unplug and relax, we provide fast and reliable Wi-Fi so you can easily map out your wine tours, check the ski reports, or stream a movie during a quiet evening in.

To preserve the peaceful, laid-back retreat atmosphere for everyone in the neighborhood, our quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

We typically require a two-night minimum stay to ensure you have enough time to truly settle in, relax, and explore the region. During peak summer holidays or special local event weekends, this minimum may occasionally be adjusted.
